StockX API alternative: StockX prices without a seller account

Does StockX have a public API?

StockX publishes an official API, but it is not open to everyone. We read the StockX developer portal (developer.stockx.com) and its OpenAPI file on 25 October 2026. They state these points:

• Access: StockX sellers only, after a review. The portal says: "Approval may take 5-7 business days".
• Authentication: an API key plus OAuth 2.0.
• Market: market data follows the market of your seller account. StockX deprecated the country parameter, so a caller cannot pick the market for each call. currencyCode sets the display currency.
• Barcode: a GTIN lookup returns the product variant. Market data for that variant is a second call.
• Limits: 25,000 requests per 24 hours, and 1 request per second.

So without a StockX seller account, you cannot get an official StockX API key for price data.

StockX prices with Barcodes.gg

Barcodes.gg is a sneaker barcode and product data API, run by Reactive Systems SL. Its price API returns StockX prices per size, as JSON. Two endpoints do this:

• GET /api/v2/prices/{style_code} returns every size of a style code.
• GET /api/v2/prices/barcode/{barcode} finds the style code and size of a UPC or EAN, then returns the prices of that size only.

Each StockX size has price (the lowest ask), bid, sales and its own as_of time. Each row names its currency and market. The same answer also holds Alias prices, unless you ask for StockX only with sites=stockx.

These are normal API calls. One answered request uses one call from the monthly allowance of your plan, and the parameters cost nothing extra. A product without cached prices returns "error": true and does not use a call. Prices are on Standard Plus (€79 per month, 10,000 calls) and higher plans. The free trial does not include prices.

Example: StockX prices for the UK market in GBP

One GET request with a Bearer token. This request asks for the StockX prices of style code DZ5485-612 in the GB market, in pounds:

The barcode answer adds barcode and barcode_size, the size of the barcode in each sizing system. The sneaker resale price API page shows a full response.

StockX markets and currencies

• currency: one of 30 StockX currencies, such as EUR, GBP, USD, JPY or AUD. The default is EUR.
• market: EU, the shared market of the EU countries, or a country with its own StockX prices: GB, CH, NO, US, CA, MX, HK, MO, TW, JP, KR, SG, MY, PH, AU, NZ, AE, SA or IL. An EU country code answers as EU. Send up to 3 markets in one call. The default is EU.
• consign: false, true or both. For StockX, consignment is Flex.
• fresh: with auto, the API pulls a price live when no price for the requested market is under 60 minutes old. With cache, it answers from the cache only.

A value off the allowed list returns HTTP 422 with the allowed values. Alias prices are in USD in every region, and region picks the Alias region.

When the official StockX API is the better choice

• You sell on StockX and want to manage your own listings and orders.
• You need the data that StockX gives a seller about the market of its own account.
• Your project must use a source that StockX itself runs.

Barcodes.gg is not a StockX partner. It does not create listings, place bids or read orders.

Limits of Barcodes.gg

• It covers two marketplaces: StockX and Alias. It has no GOAT source.
• It has no sales history endpoint. Each size has a sales count.
• It has no free tier for prices. Prices start on Standard Plus at €79 per month.
• Coverage depends on the product. Test the style codes and barcodes that you handle before you buy.
