Changes to the Barcodes.gg API, newest first. Each entry links to the documentation for the change.

25 October 2026: resale price API

  • New endpoint GET /api/v2/prices/{style_code}: resale prices per size and marketplace for a style code.
  • New endpoint GET /api/v2/prices/barcode/{barcode}: the style code and size of a barcode, and the prices for that size only.
  • Each answer has style_code, as_of, is_stale (true when the newest price is older than 24 hours) and sites. Each size has price, bid, sales, as_of and source.
  • Tokens need the new prices ability. Standard, Standard Plus, Pro, Pro Plus and Enterprise tokens can carry it.
  • One answered request uses one call. A product without cached prices returns HTTP 200 with "error": true and is not charged.
  • The OpenAPI specification has both paths under the Prices tag.
