About Barcodes.GG

Barcodes.GG is a barcode API for sneakers and streetwear. It turns a UPC, an EAN or a style code into the product it belongs to, and it is run by Reactive Systems SL, a company registered in Spain.

What we maintain

A database of 3.09 million barcodes for 1.57 million products, kept up to date by automated collection. Sneakers have one barcode per size, so a single colorway is often a dozen or more numbers; the database stores each of them against the style code, the size and the product details.

Coverage is deepest for sneakers and streetwear apparel. It is not a general consumer-goods database, and it does not include every product: a lookup can come back empty, and those misses are logged so we know what to add.

Who uses it

Resellers and stores that scan stock into inventory, marketplace and listing tools that need a GTIN for every size, and developers who build scanners and price trackers on top of the API. The service has been online since 2023.

What is free and what is paid

The barcode lookup, the style code lookup, the barcode database by brand, the release calendar and the barcode tools are free and need no account. Programmatic access, and the detailed fields for each barcode (size, colorway, release date, retail price), are part of the paid plans, which start with a 7-day trial.

Who writes the guides

The articles on the blog are produced by the Barcodes.GG team. Some are drafted with automated tools; each one is checked against the product code and the GS1 barcode standards before it is published. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.
