Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex Wrought Iron Urban Chic

The Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex in Wrought Iron and Urban Chic applies GORE-TEX waterproof protection to the XT-6's trail running-derived silhouette, featuring a closed mesh upper with tighter chain-link TPU detailing in place of the standard XT-6's more open mesh construction, Sedona Sage accent tones completing the earthy, muted palette, a breathable textile liner inside the waterproof membrane, Salomon's Coated Quicklace system with lace pocket, a Mud Contragrip rubber outsole for maximum stability across wet and mixed terrain, and a molded OrthoLite sockliner for cushioning throughout the day. The GORE-TEX membrane addition to the XT-6 platform specifically uses a PFC-free ePE membrane construction, Salomon's environmentally updated approach to waterproofing that removes perfluorocarbon chemicals while maintaining the waterproof breathability that the GORE-TEX standard requires across variable weather conditions. The Wrought Iron and Urban Chic palette applies an industrial, muted green-grey color language to the XT-6 Gore-Tex that sits within the earthy, functional color aesthetic that has defined Salomon's most consistently popular general release colorways since the XT-6 moved from trail performance into lifestyle territory, making this colorway one of the most versatile and most broadly wearable in the Gore-Tex variant's palette range. Part of Salomon's Icon Capsule SS26 alongside the XT-Whisper. Released March 1, 2026 at $200 retail through Salomon and select retailers globally with style code L47991700.
